If anyone is considering voting for Matson or Portes in the primary for mayor of Davenport you would be voting for persons actively involved in pushing the Democrat agenda. They of course do not reveal their political affiliations in their campaign advertisements which amount to feel good and vague blandishments intended to hide their political background and affiliations.
Mayoral primary candidate VanCamp is more obvious and honest about her hard-core leftist views and is not secret about her desire to impose them. A vote for Rawson is a vote for the Democrat mind-set as well. Weber and Duffy are registered Republicans and on that basis clearly have superior sense or reduced evil baggage and we hope will be the survivors in the primary.
