We think yes, again,
The Democrat Party involved itself famously in the 2010 Iowa gubernatorial election. Their main target was now Governor Brantstad. They invented a paper organization with a good government sounding name and hid as best they could their involvement for as long as they could. Their campaign relied on malicious distortion and innuendo to try to weaken the target for the general election or in general foment ill will in the Republican Party, all the while trying to maintain a facade of Republicans attacking Republicans.
Could it be that some of the obscure attack pieces we have seen, ads we have heard and negative robo calls we have been receiving are paid for by Democrats or other organizations intent on undermining Republican candidates? Certainly some do reflect regrettable aspects of internecine warfare, but we here do not doubt that some of the attacks can be traced to low-lifes in the Democrat Party.
