A faithful reader has suggested that Veritas look into the prospects of helping conservative champion Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s campaign to retain his seat in the June 5th recall election there. We agree it is the most important election in the country this year next to the November presidential election, which we believe to be crucially important to western civilization and its freedoms! How’s that for significance! The Republican establishment elswhere in the country . . . well maybe not so much.
So your editor sent an e-mail to listed Republican County Chairmen in three over the border counties within easy drive range from the Quad Cities asking asking what some volunteers might do to help the effort. A couple hours poll watching on Tuesday or campaign efforts on Monday would be a helpful and gratifying show of solidarity. We will post a time and place if we get an affirmative response. In the mean time we encourage phone calls to friends and relatives in Wisconsin emphasizing the importance of the election.
What a huge win! Did any of the Vertiaspacies make it up there? I watched the meltdown of Ed Schultz on MSNBC and it was great! He said Walker will be indicted in the coming days lol! What a loon. I never want to hear anybody cry about Fox News again after what I witnessed on MSNBC for 4 hours the other night.
