Democrats On The Defensive

The DNC Convention shows how the Democrats are on the defensive.

Like past conventions, this one has been steeped in “progressive” rhetoric intended to justify bigger government, and higher taxes.  The difference, this year, is how they deal with Obama’s high economic misery index and low approval ratings.

Theirs is a typical political ploy—deny that any problem exists, place blame on others, and distract our attention with other issues.  First, they adopt an extreme, Hamas friendly, Gay friendly, and  abortion friendly platform hoping to incite argument from the social right and obscure the public’s view of the dismal economy.  Sorry! No bites.

Then, what could be more distracting than our lovely first lady with the presses fascination with her dress, hair, and even nails.  Even if you don’t want our country to be dragged down further by Barak, your vote could allow this peach of a first lady to continue gracing the white house.

Then they hauled in Bill “Disbarred for Perjury” Clinton to tell the world how the Republicans are lying about Barak’s record. His message—The economy really isn’t that bad, and if it is, then it must be the Republicans who made it so.  Honest Bill has come a long way from the time when a past “liaison” declared that he was a “revisionist of history.”  One Democrat commentator let slip that he is, now, the most popular member of the DNC, second only to Michelle.  Where does that leave Barak?

Democrats are rightfully worried that the Hope and Change President has lost his Mojo. Hopefully for America—he has.                    Dave Hartsuch
