This screen capture is of an ubiquitous Obama internet ad where Obama’s voice assures us of his devotion to free enterprise . . . notice any ironies?:
You cannot make this stuff up. During the second debate Obama responded to the question “What do you believe is the biggest misperception that the American people have about you as a man and a candidate?” He accurately surmised peoples perception about him and to counter it responded “I believe that the free enterprise system is the greatest engine of prosperity the world’s ever known.” Don’t put coffee cup to lips just yet.
If they were not already appraised of the question and prepared a response for their candidate, the Obama campaign must have really thought that line was a keeper . . . just what the bourgeoisie needed to see, and maybe even those in the proletariat not all that trusting of government. And so they came up with those guffaw producing video ads that have been running with a voice over by Obama himself using the same line.
And what do they show as Obama assures the listeners how devoted he is to free enterprise . . . a video shot of him delivering a speech talking to government bailed out GM workers with none other than a Chevy Volt in the foreground! Yep, that essentially government boondoggle subsidized Chevy Volt with his voice over talking about his devotion to free enterprise.
