This story is notable mainly as another example of the whole fraud known as
ObamaCare which was perpetrated on the American people solely by Democrats (not
“Congress” as the media prefers to say in order to implicate Republicans).
It also is a great example of how the so-called “non-partisan” CBO was very much
complicit in this fraud…unless they are instead so incompetent that they
should not be allowed anywhere near serious discussions about the costs of
proposed legislation.
The CBO, in providing alleged “non-partisan” analysis to give cover to BO had
projected that the “CLASS ACT” would provide a deficit reduction of $70 billion
in the first decade of O’Care implementation. This was part of the “cost saving”
which was to “bend the cost curve of health care down”; remember that one?
The CBO had to know that was a lie…or they need some new accountants. DLH
