America: The Kardashian Years and “Deluded Narcissists”

prophetmotive4webcr1Here is the fine Clarice Feldman in American Thinker writing and referencing the cultural breakdown that befalls our country and leads to serfdom.

Our popular culture has moved from family favorites like Your Show of Shows, The Wonder Years, and I Love Lucy to the minute by minute coverage of celebrities not known for their wit, charm, or beauty, They are known for nothing other than the willingness to put their every part of bodies on narcissistic display and to promote the latest chichi leftwing cause.

Clarice references others with insightful observations.   This one from Alicia Colan writing in the Irish Examiner USA:

But it is folly to assume that all the low-info voters are poorly educated or on the dole. College students and graduates of liberal academia have been completely indoctrinated in leftist ideology and loathe all things conservative. Their bibles include the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times which routinely carry and affirm the Democrat lies.

Referencing where this is leading us in foreign policy, Feldman quotes Barry Rubin writing about Obama’s Noxious Nominations: The Four Horsemen of the American Foreign Policy Apocalypse (the nominations of John Kerry as secretary of state; Chuck Hagel as  secretary of defense, appeaser John Brennan, the president’s counterterrorism advisor, as CIA chief, and of course Obama).

–They are all stupid people. Some friends said I shouldn’t write this because it is a subjective judgment and sounds mean-spirited. But honest, it’s true. [snip] Smart people can make bad judgments; regular people with common sense often make bad judgments less often. But stupid, arrogant people with terrible ideas are a disaster.

Not possessed of mere truculence, (although we love the comment in bold) Rubin reminds us in the article of relevant personal histories to America’s proposed key foreign policy establishment.  There are foreboding implications as to what we can look forward to in the defense of western civilization.

Not part of Feldman’s article but with related concerns we add this reference to an article authored by noted psychiatrist Dr. Kieth Ablow with his own observations stating: We are raising a generation of deluded narcisists.  And he foresees dire consequences.

We had better get a plan together to combat this greatest epidemic as it takes shape.  Because it will dwarf the toll of any epidemic we have ever known. And it will be the hardest to defeat. Because, by the time we see the scope and destructiveness of this enemy clearly, we will also realize, as the saying goes, that it is us

But hey,  . . .  Al “Tawanna” Sharpton seems to think that BO is ready for his rightful place on Mt. Rushmore. They’ve already started carving the crown of thorns, we
understand. He will share the mountain with some new “icons” (the originals are
to be replaced), Karl Marx, Reverend Wright, and Michele. Party on low and mal-
information voters!!               DLH  w/ R Mall

One Response to America: The Kardashian Years and “Deluded Narcissists”

  1. Roy Munson says:

Oh come on I had a totally different comment to write until I watched that damn Al Sharpton video with his protege “Toure” (he is so cool he only goes by one name) in the last paragraph! They want Obama on Mt. Rushmore but would be
suspicious of white people working on it because the original builders were in the KKK? Sharpton makes special Ed Schultz look calm and rationale over at MSDNC these days.
