And from our favorite site to quote – veritaspac!:

Yeah, let’s help these guys! We’re told, of course, that jihadists are just a small percentage of rebel fighters in Syria. Now, remember, we’re being told this by John Kerry and other Obama spokespersons. You know, the ones who told us that, fer shur, it was that damnable video that aroused the righteous passions of “some guys out on a walk and decided to kill some Americans in Benghazi”.

They’re also many of the same folks who told us that Bush lied when he relied on worldwide intelligence sources. You know, they’re sources that are assuring our Dear Leader that chemical weapons (a little like those Saddam used in Iraq and in the Iraq-Iran war?) have been used by the Syrian government. They lied to Bush but they’re telling Mr. Obama the God’s (er, Allah’s) truth!?

I’m certainly relieved by John Kerry assurances. According to John, we needn’t trouble ourselves that AlQaeda, or other “extremists” would take over in Syria if we help bring down Assad. Probably it would just be a moderate, stable Muslim Brotherhood regime who would undoubtedly want to be America’s best buddy in the Middle East.

Should we intervene on the “rebels” behalf? Well, Karl Rove, John Graham and Lindsey McCain (or vice versa), the Wall Street  Journal, all think so. After all…what could go wrong?  DLH
