This King Has Turned Into a Royal Jerk

From Robert Laurie writing at the Canada Free Press:

Yesterday, (Peter)King (who’s still considering a 2016 presidential run) spoke with the always-unbiased New York Times. During his interview, he called Cruz a “fraud” and referred to his anti-Obamacare crusade as “just a form of
governmental terrorism.”

Where the hell is the real Peter King. As I recall, there was a time when I,
perhaps naively, regarded the NY congressman as a conservative Republican.

His performance in the past few days, however, was, to be really charitable…
disgusting, despicable, graceless, and stupid. Those are the good parts. It had
me wondering if this guy I watched on MSNBC, saying much the same as quoted
above (I was surfing…not an MSNBC  devotee), claiming he was Peter King, might
be an imposter.

But, no, it was him, the real Peter King, there on MSNBC early Thursday morning,
doing his thing for those sad, ignorant regular viewers…both of them.

I presume King was auditioning to replace “Joe” Scarborough when Republican
voters get really tired of voting for this twerp (King) in 2014 or so.

As I’ve hinted in the recent past, it is becoming nigh impossible to identify
one’s self as a member of a political party which would include people like the
embarassing Peter King, and John McCain, and Lindsey Graham, and, and…

Myself, I’d prefer to identify with a Party which included the likes of Cruz,
Lee, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann,  Allen West, and, and . . .

  1. Roy Munson says:

Hey look at King on Chris Matthews-

“Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.) said Tuesday that there are about 30 to 40 Republicans in Congress who refuse to recognize the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency and are seeking to erase everything that’s happened during his administration.

King made the remarks in a discussion with Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” after the host asked how many Republicans would like to “erase [Obama’s] record, as if he was never here.”

“I’ve had members, they know who they are, they say, ‘I really can’t say with these lips that this man, Barack Obama, was elected president,’” Matthews said. “They choke on that. How many are there in Congress on your side that represent that rejectionist front?”
“I would say there are probably 30 or 40 who are like that,” King responded. “
