This is a remarkable story from the NY Times.
“As Sharpton Rose, So Did His Unpaid Taxes”
It is remarkable in the fact that it is the Times doing a stunningly revealing and extraordinarily critical piece about President Obama’s closest “confidante” on racial issues…the “Reverend” Al Sharpton!
Our president may not be aware of Mr. Sharpton’s aversion to paying taxes. Nor does it appear that he knows of the “Reverend’s” seedy past, his dishonorable deeds, the damage to many people’s lives he has wrought over the years.
But perhaps, Mr. Obama will learn of these things now when he reads them in the TImes, where he seems to get most of his information. And I bet he’ll be really, really angry that nobody told him about the reverend.
One can only wonder how this great nation has descended to such depths as our president and the people with whom he chooses to associate represents. It is hard to imagine how a despotic leader intent on bringing about the destruction of America could act any differently than Barack Obama in surrounding himself with the people he does.
Al Sharpton is just one of the faces Mr. Obama has chosen to show Americans how much contempt he has for the values and virtues and traditions this nation has stood for. And it’s a great choice!
