Here’s a thought/question stimulated by recent events:
– BO has praised LeBron James and other pro athletes who have publicly shown their support of protests against the Garner and Brown grand juries decisions not to indict white police officers.
Question: What if some other pro athletes have the “courage” LeBron and the four St. Louis Rams football players Obama praised, but, instead of protesting grand jury decisions they publicly showed their support for the two slain NY police officers and for law enforcement throughout the nation?
Also, would those pro team owners approve of such public displays as the Cleveland and St. Louis team owners did? What would you bet? And how do you think the leagues would react to pro-law enforcement demonstrators and t-shirts? Or our favorite:
