World Net Daily (WND) is promoting a “Dump Boehner” campaign. Editor Joseph Farrah says that Boehner is vulnerable to a “palace coup.” We have previously promoted contacts to Iowa’s Steve King urging him to run for Speaker of the House and to Iowa’s new Republican Congressmen-elect Rod Blum and David Young urging vigorous conservative challenges to Obama’s executive orders through the power of the purse. We believe Speaker Boehner is not a dependable leader in accomplishing what must be done.
The WND campaign (link here) involves sending a message to House Republicans on yellow paper. The site wants $29 to do that for you to insure that every House Republican gets the message. The reason for yellow paper is that the letter begins: “Don’t be yellow: Dump Boehner now!” Any association with the Speaker’s notorious golden golf pallor is purely coincidental, or not. That he has not exhibited the courage of his various commitments to stop the Obamanation is intended.
Twenty-nine bucks is a little rich for our blood so we suggest scratching a note to Iowa’s three Republicans on yellow paper, shove them in their respective envelopes (addresses below), scare up the three individual stamps and off they go. For about a buck and a half you will be making the point. We do think the yellow notes will be effective. It is not wasted effort even if there is little confidence that they will buck the establishment. They will get the message that we are watching them and we want action and not excuses.
We are adding in Speaker Boener’s DC congressional office as well and will send him a similar note. We will tape two BB’s to his note with the implication he lost his and these can be the start of his growing a pair.
Disrespectful? No more than the disrespect he has shown the country by not keeping promises regarding the budget or to the mandate from the election. It is John Boehner who owes the country and conservatives.
