In just the four pithy comments below, responding to various recent Veritaspac op-eds (see “comments” sections), “Phil Silverman” has showcased the entire Progressive strategy of thoughtful debate, most of its repertoire of clever retorts, and a glimpse into the mindset of their most ardent “true believers”. And he has done it without even a reference to the “satanic” Koch brothers!
– “nice RACIALLY CHARGED B.S.”
– “yeah, yeah! looky here! the anti-Christ and his worldly host! hehehe!!!”
– “how iz Obama trying to take over? using exec. order half as much as W.? getting us the hell out of the War for Cheney? come on, give us *something*, Birchers!”
– “DICK MORRIS SAYS? good one. force vetoes. yeah. while all that garbage collects, not one job is creatred by any of the garbage deliverers.”
Veritaspac readers need show genuine gratitude to “Phil”. He has provided an unusually stark insight into a certain type of individual, one like many of whom sit in press rooms and on editorial boards throughout America. In his barely coherent style Phil has given readers a keen understanding of the truly “low information”…more accurately, the “woefully uninformed” voter and the quality of judgment which moved them to want to return to the White House in 2012 the most abjectly failed president in our history.
Mr. “Silverman’s” deep thoughts, expressed with the eloquence of an MSNBC host, suggest that he or she may well be an employee of the “talent-rich” Obama State Department.
In fact, “Phil’s” intellectually devastating ripostes recall the incomparable wisdom and rapier sharp wit of a recently prominent figure from those very environs.
Could it be that the writer is not the mysterious “Phil Silverman” , but is actually Marie Harf, the wise and articulate spokesperson (listed also as “advisor” to Secretary of State, John Kerry) for the bureaucracy which sent hapless James Taylor to perform in one of America’s biggest diplomatic debacles since the nation’s founding. If he or she is not, then look out Ms. Harf! The “Silver Man” is after your job. And from the remarks we’ve noted above, he’s got the goods to do it!
Oh, one last note, “Phil/Marie”. Did you actually mean to use the term “Birchers”???
That’s a term not heard in polite company since a 300 lb. schoolboy nicknamed “Reverend Al” was shaking down his classmates for their lunch money!
Haven’t you heard of the “evil” Tea Party? Kind of disappointed in you for that one, “Phil/Marie’. DLH
He seemed particularly concerned about the Al Sharpton criticism. He’s probably a 20 year old Liberal who only knows Al Sharpton as the skinny MSNBC civil rights hero, not the 400 pound racist/sexist/homophobic/anti-Semitic FBI informant snitch who still owes the IRS $4 million. It’s ok Phil Silverman, I was a little slow back then myself.
