Will somebody please report back on Obama’s second-to-his-last State of the Union address tonight. There is a scheduled infomercial about toe fungus on at the same time that I would rather see.
Of course the big question everybody’s excited about: Who will be guests of Michele O? — Will one of Obama’s biggest allies on the world stage be present ? Will Pope Francis join Michele to cheer Obama’s pleas for income equality and elimination of . . . climate change?
Obama’s SOTU addresses have not had the viewership of late and could use the help. Someone who can draw six million in person is a rock star.
Imagine, TV viewers seeing Pope Francis on Michele’s right and that other major spiritual leader, the Reverend Al on her left!
My proposal for Obama’s bid to “save the middle class”: A one-time “surcharge of 100 % on the net worth of any individual over $25 billion! You suppose Obama’s biggest supporters, Billy Gates, Warren the Wonderful, and Tom Steyer, owner-operator of the Democrat party will endorse this?
Finally, will Joni Ernst respond to SOTU in line with her campaign rhetoric…or will she read the script Mitch and Boehner have written for her?
