One can not dismiss the article as a diatribe when one is reminded by the author of how the Christian faith and the Muslim faith were first spread according to their holy books. Christianity was first promulgated through demonstrations of sacrifice, forgiveness, love (corrupted later on occasion, but not endemically). Islam was first promulgated with the sword. Christ never advocated spreading the gospel under penalty of torture or death. This is not to say that most Muslims do not prefer to live in peace, only that mainstream elements have the first responsibility to end Islamic terror in the name of religion.
