The Weekly Standard reports today on a letter signed by 50 Republican Senators in the form of an “open letter” to the government of Iran. It was triggered by the Obama administration’s intent to reach an agreement with Iran on its nuclear weapons program with or without congressional approval.
The letter from the Senators seeks to inform the Iranian leaders basically not to count their chickens because the United States has a constitution (stop laughing at such an assertion by some of these guys) and that they are in charge (again stop laughing). Anyway we have set forth the Senators’ letter thanks to The Weekly Standard. In an exclusive to veritaspac.com we have obtained a copy of the response from Iran sent to the senators.
Regrettably we are not sure that the Iranian response isn’t closer to meaningfulness.
