Senate Chamber Needs A Gutter For Durbin to Speak From

Illinois has gotta be proud

In a town full of sleazy, greedy, mean-spirited, lying scum, Dick Durbin is in a class by himself. This is an unprincipled gas-bag who has characterized from the floor of the Senate American soldiers as Nazis and tools of some of the world’s most brutal dictators. He has regularly attacked the opposition party with revolting misrepresentations.

He has plumbed the depths of hypocrisy and dishonesty so often that his despicable performance last week, again from the floor of the Senate (Mr. Durbin should not be allowed to speak from the “floor” of the Senate. A gutter should be constructed in that chamber for him to speak from…a far more appropriate place for this disgrace to American politics), to inject race into political debate in the most cynical and disgusting way was of no great shock or surprise.

But once again, the question must be asked: why are Republicans too timid and cowardly to call out such Democrat sleazes as Harry Reid, Alan Grayson (GOP healthcare plan: Die), and Durbin when they denigrate, insult or slander them, the American people, leaders of the opposition, and even members of our armed forces?

Some in the media, not the liberal/leftists who abet such behavior as Durbin’s, but others as the piece here, have highlighted Durbin’s stunning hypocrisy. But why doesn’t an elected GOP representative present such facts to the press from the floor of Congress? it would require the media to at least include it in its film clips.

We can guess.
