Originally the Lynch nomination was going to be rejected by the “fearless” GOP caucus in Congress as one of its most powerful weapons in retaliation for Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty (that and the “power of the purse”; remember that one?) Or, she would be approved only if Obama rescinded his action.
Well, in her testimony before the Senate Judiciary committee Lynch was very clear that she thought that executive action was a home run.
So now, the GOP, in return for some meaningless compromise re: an abortion amendment included in the “anti-human trafficking’ bill, will “move on to the Iran issue”.
In addition to thinking that Senator Corker had already “solved” the “Iran issue”, on the matter of the “compromise” on the abortion amendment, the good Senator might want to check with the former Democrat congressman, Bart “the Dupe” Stupak. “Stupe” had an ironclad deal with Obama hisself that Obamacare would not, in any way, provide federal funds for abortion.
And that’s why the term describing getting “scammed’, “I’ve been “Stupak’d”, will soon be replaced with, “I’ve been Corkered!”‘
“My sense is, over the next 48 to 72 hours, that is going to be resolved, and we will move on to this Iran issue,” said Corker (CNN report here)

JIMMY CARTER? hmmm > well, he did leave a trillion dollar debt, which Reagan increased. started no wars. was somewhat a victim of the oil embargo. cost of living manageable. kept the hostages ALIVE. soooooo Obama is WORSE than Bush II and Reagan and Carter (who was not bad)?. let’s see > Obama cut unemploy. in half and the deficit in half; got thru HISTORIC hjealthcasre reform (actually similar to Bush II’s plan and based upon Romneycare and the 1993 Repub. alternative – yeah, real sneaky); got insurers to quit denying coverage to precondition MS and cancer patients; got thru student loan, credit card, and wall street reform (I guess U guyz loved the over deregulation which led to the crashes in ’87 and ’08). yes, it was also a nightmare that GM and Chrysler are restored to competitiveness. that Iraqi soldiers were brought home ahead of sched. to alleviate a NINTH tour in the hoaxed war. and he did all that despite the confederates coming out of the woodwork & the TP Caucus declaration of war on blue collar job development on 01-20-09.

Phil, you may say you are pro-Israel but that does not make it in any way meaningfully so, especially in light of what Israel sees as its number one threat, Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, and the path that Obama has laid out for them to do so. You cannot assume anyone who is pro-life will give credence to your personal opposition and support of a regime that aggressively supports unlimited abortion until the moment of birth (including death by exposure to those babies born alive as a result) and taxpayer funding of it, nor can you with any credibility call yourself “pro Capitalism” and support the takeover of one sixth of the economy which Obamacare has done, and all manner of property rights limitations, confiscatory income taxes, crony-capitalism and hamstringing politically correct regulations inflicted on business large and small.
