Adding more links – recommendations welcome
Previously we highlighted DiscoverTheNetworks.org, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. Recently we discovered that Jim Hoft, founder and proprietor of The Gateway Pundit, created Progressives Today, an online publication also devoted to posting articles exposing what progressives are up to. From the statement of purposes:
Many Americans who consider themselves left of center have an antiquated sense of today’s Democrat party. This is not their father’s Democratic party. Democrats today are controlled by, and answer to, the most radical elements of their party. Yet, with cover generously provided by the mainstream media, progressives are able to push their influence in the shadows. And they have no shame.
Progressives Today follows and publicly exposes the radical elements of the institutional left. It will be the go to resource for all elements of the progressive movement through old school investigative journalism.
We have added it to our link area. We are also in the process of adding more links in general and categorizing those with a thematic concentration useful to conservatives. At this stage we want to concentrate on making sure we have what the big boys are reading, the favorites of our favorites. While our links are fairly extensive already, we could glean more from Drudge for example, but we want to go beyond that, and are not as interested in “mainstream” news outlets because we unavoidably get inundated with those. We do not know the limits for links on our current WordPress template so we may end up with a page bar item devoted to the resultant conglomeration. Expanding political oriented links related especially to Iowa (local and state) but also Illinois and regional is desired especially.
