. . . Such a man of the people
It’s always a class act. How can Americans not feel really good about being part of a country that has a leader like this? Obama devotes his entire presidency, it seems, to upholding the dignity of the highest office in the land and the most powerful position in the world.
You gotta be proud when you see him taking selfies of himself mugging for the camera or yukking it up with an attractive female leader of another country at the funeral of the late Nelson Mandela whom Obama claims to admire so much!
And don’tcha really feel part of a really exceptional country when your leader appears with such hip and cool “folks” like the svelte GloZel Green who likes to cavort on her YouTube “show” in a bathtub eating Fruit Loops (seriously “cool” folks want to know if Obama took her “cereal challenge”). (And if you’ve not just eaten, here’s the story from the Daily Mail at the time.)
And that brings us to his latest interview with the hip and cool whose company our president especially enjoys. This interview was not interrupted by the events in Charleston. Obama made his obligatory “heartfelt” comments before taking off on another round of fundraisers and golf.
His interviewer was the renowned host of the show best known for its “garage studio” and entitled “WTF with Marc Maron” (and you thought it might not be classy enough for serious conversation with the President of the United States?)
Here’s a sample from a previous appearance by this host:
In 2011, Maron appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO, making fun of Michele Bachmann’s husband Marcus, who leftists always joke is secretly homosexual. Maron joked he would have violent sex with Mrs. Bachmann: “I don’t want to be crass but I just hope that Marcus Bachmann takes all that, you know, rage that comes from repression and denial and brings it into the bedroom with her. I hope he f–ks her angrily because, because that’s how I would.”

Remember when the White House used to be known as the “People’s House”?
(And, who do you suppose paid for “the hor d’oeuvres and the booze”? You did taxpayer…sucker!)
“Wednesday at the White House reception to observe LGBT Pride Month, President Barack Obama was heckled by a man demanding an end to deportations.
“Obama said to the man, “No, no, no, you’re in my house.”
“After the heckler was escorted out, the president said, “As a general rule, I am just fine with a few hecklers, but not when I’m up in the house, you know what I mean? Because my attitude is if your eating the hor d’oeuvres—you know what I’m saying —and drinking the booze, I know that’s right. Anyway, where was I?”
