House Republican: Obama Administration Won’t Release Full Iran Deal to Congress
“Butt out, Congress! It’s none of your business, least of all that of the American people. I’m running this country and as long as I’ve got quality people like John Kerry and Jeh Johnson, and Al Sharpton and Loretta Lynch, and Marie Harf, and George Soros’ money I don’t need any thing else.”
Anybody want to argue that this fictional statement by our president could be a pretty accurate portrayal of Obama’s attitude toward Congress and the American people?
There is a statement which has circulated from time to time over the years since Obama first came into office. The alleged source of the comment is a former Czech Republic president, Vaclav Klaus. Such a remark attributed to a world leader is probably why it initially gained global circulation. It has since been established that the source of the comment was likely not, in fact, Klaus and it has not been determined who actually did originate what has become regarded as a pretty keen observation.
Neither is it necessary for many of us to know who first said it to sadly appreciate its chilling accuracy. Here is the statement:
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who …is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”
