Mostly the usual suspects
From American Conservative News:
Should your tax dollars be used to guarantee loans to fat-cat corporations like Boeing and GE? Apparently 24 Republicans in the Senate believe that taxpayer funded “crony capitalism” is the way to go. Here are the names of the 24 Republican Senators who voted to cut off debate on the re-authorization of the Export-Import Bank. Jot them down and remember them…
Not one Democrat voted to stop reauthorization of the Export-Import bank. These 24 Republican Senators voted with 43 Democrats (three did not vote) to keep crony capitalism alive. From U.S. Senate Web site:
Alexander (R-TN), Ayotte (R-NH), Blunt (R-MO), Burr (R-NC), Coats (R-IN), Cochran (R-MS), Collins (R-ME), Enzi (R-WY), Ernst (R-IA), Graham (R-SC), Grassley (R-IA), Heller (R-NV), Hoeven (R-ND), Isakson (R-GA), Johnson (R-WI), Kirk (R-IL), McCain (R-AZ), Moran (R-KS), Murkowski (R-AK), Portman (R-OH), Roberts (R-KS), Rounds (R-SD), Scott (R-SC), Wicker (R-MS)
The good guys on this vote: Republican Senators (26) who voted to stop the big-government /big-business collusion:
Barrasso (R-WY), Boozman (R-AR), Capito (R-WV), Cassidy (R-LA), Cornyn (R-TX), Cotton (R-AR), Crapo (R-ID), Cruz (R-TX), Daines (R-MT), Fischer (R-NE), Gardner (R-CO), Hatch (R-UT), Inhofe (R-OK), Lankford (R-OK), Lee (R-UT), McConnell (R-KY), Paul (R-KY), Perdue (R-GA), Risch (R-ID), Rubio (R-FL), Sasse (R-NE), Shelby (R-AL), Sullivan (R-AK), Thune (R-SD), Tillis (R-NC), Vitter (R-LA)
The following Senators did not vote:
Coons (D-DE), Corker (R-TN), Flake (R-AZ), Markey (D-MA) Sanders (I-VT)
Sessions (R-AL), Toomey (R-PA).
Of those voting to advance the Export-Import bank reauthorization there were some disappointments, Grassley and Ernst in particular. Et tu, Chuck and Joni? We note that several Republican senators split their vote with their Republican counterpart from their state. Alaska’s Repubican Senators split as did Wyoming and South Dakota.
