Brown to Carson: Here’s climate change evidence
Why doesn’t Dr. Carson send Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown the considerable evidence that the climate change worshipers are constantly falsifying findings, distorting events (the area is not experiencing the first drought in California history), and outright lying? Oh wait! It ‘s a ‘moral issue’! Facts don’t matter. Pope Fran said so and is just as resistant to facts. Four years in a Jesuit seminary must make you susceptible to earth-first nostrums.
From the CNN report:
Ben Carson says there’s no convincing research to prove that man plays a role in climate change.
So California Gov. Jerry Brown has sent the retired neurosurgeon a U.N. report so he can brush up on the subject . . .
Carson’s campaign communications director Doug Watts said the candidate had not yet received the letter. But Watts maintained that Carson is not a “climate denier” but what he called a “climate questioner.”
“He has a different standard of persuasion and proof. Nothing more,” Watts said. “He questions (climate change) and cares about the environment.”
Watts said Carson would read the report with an open mind when it arrives.
“He could be persuaded,” Watts said.
The last sentence sounds like the political hedging that people are tired of and conservatives no longer have any time for. But oh well.
Here is a 1994 New York Times item that Dr Carson’s aid might want to send on to Governor Moonbeam, however you reach him. Full text here.
