So much to soak up

After visiting at length the communist island oasis of Cuba, the Pope brings his lecture tour here

The trip and attendance to cost a whole lot of devil dung

From Breibart:

Vatican welcomes Iran deal, pressures Israel to give up nukes

From Daily Mail:

Iran finds huge new supply of uranium which could allow country to fuel nuclear programme without Western monitoring

Fortunate, indeed, is the world. We have a Vatican which is expert on everything…foreign affairs, economics, climate, politics, politics, and, did I mention politics?

Pope Francis certainly has a full plate for his visit to “The Cause Of Most Of The World’s Problems”…also often referred to as the United States of America.

But his Holiness will have a lot of help to advance his agenda, most of which he shares with the other expert on everything, Barack Obama. The Mainstream Media, normally not real hot for religion and especially not Christianity and Catholicism, will knock themselves out trying to help the two “great leaders” shape this planet up.

The Pontiff has already made clear he’ll be spreading the word on “climate change”, on income inequality; on wealth redistribution; on the evils of capitalism; on the value of borderless societies and “One World ” government and maybe, if time permits, a word or two on some of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church.

Now we learn that The Vicar “approves of” the Iran Nuclear Agreement and apparently really wishes Israel would shape up and get rid of their nuclear capability, maybe so that Barack can get on with securing lasting world peace.

Given this latest Papal pronouncement, we kind of look for Francis to also come out in favor of Obama’s plans to close Gitmo and maybe endorse higher taxes on “the wealthy”.

Hard to imagine His Holiness getting out of town without condemning one more time all that lust for money…that is, the “devil’s dung”… that causes all the world’s problems  and, let’s not forget the “throwaway society”  he often laments.

One might expect also that America will be anxious to hear what the Pope thinks about the Republican presidential candidates and when he thinks Jimmy Fallon will take the bandage off his hand.

It’s going to be a fun week!

Maybe even a visit with GloZel could be on the docket, in order to really get down with the people
