Hard to say, but Hollywood and Washington do that to people, or bring such people to their field of influence
Does Ford prefer Hans or Harrison? I forget. So Ford will do. As it turns out he is just another Hollywood phony. We didn’t realize the long standing environmental boosterism of the guy. We did however pick up on news about his toys and his mishaps with them. Understand that we are OK with large CO2 emitting devices just not the phonies who preach environmentalism while operating such devices with abandon, living “high energy” lifestyles. They rub us the wrong way.
Consider Hans Ford’s recent comments about the Paris climate enclave (the implications of which he is just too stupid to fathom) alongside some pictures of his carbon footprint, considerably bigger than Chewbacca’s.
Harrison Ford hits out at global inaction on climate change, warns of ‘disastrous’ consequences
Hollywood heavyweight Harrison Ford has told the ABC he hopes world leaders can “finally do something” about climate change as he launched a broadside at squabbling world powers.
During an interview with 7.30, Ford said the consequences of inaction were dire. . . .
The actor, who is in Australia to promote the forthcoming Star Wars film The Force Awakens, took aim at the broader population as well as the political class.
He also called upon the public to value their environment beyond being merely about “cute animals and a place for them to vacation”.
First consider Ford’s home homes, in 2011 he had at least three. The LA area, Jackson, Wyoming and New York City. From Celebrity Net Worth:
Where does Harrison Ford live? Harrison Ford has a number of homes, including a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, an 800 acre woodland home in Jackson, Wyoming, and a Manhattan penthouse located in Chelsea’s City Prairie building in New York. The penthouse is 5,500-square-foot, with 4-bedrooms and 4.5-bathrooms. The penthouse features an elevator, 11 rooms, state-of-the-art kitchen and security system, gym, office, and library. The floors are made of anigre wood and poured concrete, all equipped with radiant heat. At the top of the penthouse there is a 2,300-square-foot private rooftop terrace, complete with wet bar and views of Manhattan and the Hudson River.
A quick search of Google imparts these energy gobbling edifices as pictured. But for all their environmental degradation, by the left’s standards, they don’t compare on a yearly basis to even one trip on Hans’ little Millennium Falcon Cessna Citation CE-680 Sovereign he jams into his hangar in Santa Monica along with some of his other toys
It is hard to be humble about the environment when you insist on owning your own trans-continental capable aircraft rather than chartering as needed or, perish the thought, fly plebeian. Below are some more pictures of Ford’s various toys anyone of which spews more particulates, more CO2 than any conveyance owned by 99.9% of Americans. The two on the left are owned by Ford, the two on the right are of a type owned. He also owns a fleet of cars and motorcycles.
Alas it is the risks one takes chasing up the coast for the $300 sandwich.
Harrison Ford, the vice chairman of Conservation International, who owns seven airplanes and admits, “I often fly up the coast for a cheeseburger.”
