How’s this for something to look forward to, America?
Obama announces he’s “going to leave it all out on the field in 2016”
President Obama has already left a lot of “it”…huge piles…all over this great nation. “It” has drenched virtually every area of our government. Steaming piles of Obama’s “it” are waist deep in agencies of the federal government from the IRS to the Pentagon to the State Dept and on and on. Allies of the United States have been recipients of unwanted loads of our president’s “it”…from Europe to the Middle East and Asia…even some countries in North and South America. Most of the traditions and institutions which have contributed to America’s greatness and its role as leader of the free world have found themselves buried under Obama’s “it”.
The next president will have to possess near superhuman skills and commitment to clean up everything this president has left “on the field” and everywhere else. Even if successful, the stench of Obama’s “it” will linger for generations to come.
Americans had better choose wisely in 2016. If the next president is content to wallow in Obama’s odorous and toxic “legacy”, and even leave more of “it”, those future generations will never experience the sweet smell of freedom and national greatness.
From Matt Vespa writing at Town Hall:
Regarding the 2016 legislative agenda, the Trans-Pacific Partnership’s details have been released for Congress to review. The president added that it’s the most pro-labor, pro-environment trade deal in history. It virtually removes all the tariffs on American manufactured products, and he hopes to sign it at the end of his presidency. He also gave “kudos” to Speaker Paul Ryan and former Speaker John Boehner, thanking the latter for working with the White House to provide a budget framework for future negotiations. He described Speaker Ryan as a professional, who has reached out to his office in order to inform the administration as to what he can and cannot do. Ryan is respectful of the process, and how legislation works. The president added that he called members of the congressional leadership to thanks them for the orderly way in, which this budget agreement was crafted and passed.
