“Crazy white dudes” urged to be Capitol One customers??!!
Tell me. Why does Capital One, the credit card giant, have Samuel L. Jackson, pretty much a self-proclaimed racist (see below), doing commercials for their products?
Another question. Shouldn’t Capital One, in the interest of “consistency,” include in their commercials that “crazy white dudes”, those folks so identified and despised by their “spokesperson” (Jackson), need not apply for their credit cards?
Seriously, why does a company, attempting to attract as many customers for their products as possible, put a nasty, divisive personality like Samuel L. Jackson out front as their salesman/spokesperson?

“Samuel L. Jackson gave an interview with the Hollywood Reporter in which he said on hearing about the December murders in San Bernardino, he had wished the killers were white and not Muslim.
“When that thing happened in France, we were sitting there going, ‘Oh, my God, these terrorists!’ And I can’t even tell you how much that day the thing that happened in San Bernardino — I was in Hawaii — how much I really wanted that to just be another, you know, crazy white dude, and not really some Muslims, because it’s like: ‘Oh, s**t. It’s here. And it’s here in another kind of way,’” Jackson said. “Now, okay, it happened on an Army base and it happened somewhere else. But now? It’s like they have a legitimate reason now to look at your Muslim neighbor, friend, whatever in another way. And they become the new young black men.”
I don’t know Jackson, how are you going to look at them? Which one will cause you to worry about “what’s in their suitcase” . . . the white dude or the Muslim immigrant? And how are we to feel about you after your days with Stokely, hostage taking, guns and drugs, your association with the likes of Quentin Tarantino? You take a lot of roles that, shall we say, play to type.
Preceding your “wish” this holiday season, besides politically correct blame, what about these reports from Colin Flaherty* documenting black gang violence? How is the average white guy supposed to look at such incidents?
