“Ash” must have discovered there are still some of our accomplished, experienced warriors not yet driven out of our military ranks by the inept, destructive, and willful policies of the Obama administration.
Indeed, if our military “structure” is “top-heavy”, I’d suggest cuts begin with Navy Secretary Roy Mabus and “Ash” himself.
Navy Secretary “Rainbow Ray” Mabus is absolutely enthralled with having all Navy personnel be unisex in appearance and is intent on rewriting manuals and coming up with gender neutral titles at huge expense compared to critical needs.
As regards the top brass, well sure if you gut the ranks you do not need as many of them. And what better way to justify the purging of remaining senior staff not in tune with our illustrious Commander-in-Chief! Seems positively economical and we all know the Obamanation is all about being economical. Pity the pathetic ones that went along with Obama’s gutting of the military without complaint, and are being cut now. Oh well, the alligator ate them last. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said Tuesday he plans to reduce the number of generals and admirals to counter a “top-heavy” command structure.
Shrinking the top brass is one of a number of ideas for updating the sprawling Defense Department command structure as contained in the 30-year-old Goldwater-Nichols Act. Mr. Carter said there are too many four-star billets.
“In the coming weeks the Defense Department will look to simplify and improve command and control where the number of four-star positions have made headquarters either top-heavy or less efficient than they could be,” he said at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington.

It’s the first known instance of possible reprisals against CENTCOM personnel after analysts accused their bosses of manipulating intelligence reports about the U.S.-led campaign against ISIS in order to paint a rosier picture of progress in the war.
Ash the efficiency expert?
Rumors abound that Ash has come up with the solution to any facilities needs or other problems due to planned for increases in women in all military occupations. Taking a cue from Obama Education and Justice Department solutions for insuring opportunities and sensitivity for transgenders, our sources tell us that Ash will simply direct all military facilities be unisex with no need to declare sexual identity, one shower fits all! Why didn’t we think of that!!
