Orlando massacre: A violation of a safe place for the LGBT community

That’s the message that the Kansas City hysterically screams on its front page.

The massacre of 49 people Orlando, Florida in the early morning hours of Sunday “was not just a targeted attack against the LGBT community but “a *desecration of gay bars and clubs, places that have historically and culturally served as safe gathering spots.”

What about that term “desecration”  —

Noun 1. desecration – blasphemous behavior; the act of depriving something of its sacred character; “desecration of the Holy Sabbath”

Far be it from the “gay pride” community to engage in “desecration”

Referring to the Orlando massacre as anything other than radical Islamic inspired terrorism and murder is a desecration of journalism.
