“The past decade has seen gay Americans belittled, isolated and demonized for political gain.”
No kidding? Where have I been?
Another third rate editorial, reflecting the deep thoughts of the “journalists” (and non-journalists) of the QC Times editorial board.
So “gay Americans” have been “belittled, isolated and demonized for political gain”.
That could be news for the CEO who was ousted from the company he founded because he gave a few hundred bucks several years previously to a group supporting Proposition 8 in California which had a different opinion on gay marriage than the QC Times.
As for “political gain”, two of the staunchest opponents of gay marriage only 5 years ago, when they found it to their political advantage, were Barack Obama and, WHO?… Hillary Clinton! What could have changed their minds? Did they fall off their high horses on the road to Damascus?
Did I miss “Straight Pride Month”?
I’d better stop here. It’s not beyond possibility here in “Bizzaroworld” for one to be charged with “Failure to Pander”.
