Obama is stepping up the pace to supersonic speed in order to complete his “fundamental transformation” of America. He is moving so fast on so many fronts that opposition to his disastrous agenda cannot keep up.
Whether it’s freeing the most dangerous Islamist terrorists; destroying America’s military effectiveness; federalizing state and local police departments; or purposely attempting to conceal Iran’s total repudiation of his phony Iran Nuclear Agreement; or creating racial tension including his all out support for racist groups including BLM and the New Black Panthers; or his fully media-supported effort to eliminate the Second Amendment and disarm Americans; or his all out taxpayer-funded support to elect a corrupt Democratic presidential candidate who has a documented disregard for national security and as much contempt for ordinary Americans as Obama himself; or his rush to get as many illegal immigrants across our borders and into defenseless cities around the nation as possible; or any number of other lawless, dangerous, contemptible initiatives he has underway, unless he is somehow stopped, the next six months will see the irreversible destruction of this nation’s laws, traditions, values, and national security.
Can Trump have at least some effect? I believe a lot will depend on whether it’s the “original” Trump or the “Manafort” version. I don’t think the latter is going to do it. We’ve seen that approach with McCain, Mitt, Dole, et al. DLH
