While not independently verified on our part,* we found this graphic revelation as sent by DK to be plausible even if the reasons in the accompanying analysis are “subject to interpretation.” We are aware that magazines and newspapers test covers, and in the case of the print editions of larger newspapers, alter editions as a result of the latest information. National newspapers, because they may be printed in multiple locations, and regionalized for content and advertising, can alter the exact same story’s headline. We doubt that within the same region that different content goes to different towns, but the capability to do so would seem possible for whatever reason. The question is, why the strikingly different portrayals of Trump’s speech in the headlines.
