Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway has as far as we can tell been a significant net plus to Trump’s campaign efforts. The insiders can relay post election what was and was not achieved on her watch at that exalted level. But her forte as a pollster is the decision making process and ongoing measurement and analysis of it, not the voting process and its vulnerabilities which is a whole different analytical mind set. Her comments about the integrity of the vote are ignorant. Any thought that Republicans might have their wins called into question under an aura of concern about voter fraud is incredibly convoluted.
Operatives intent on gaming the voting system, exploiting vulnerabilities, overwhelming it, do so by analyzing in reverse the existing laws and practices, the demographics in each state and locale, in order to look for weak laws, weak enforcers and then employ or otherwise encourage unethical end-justifies-the-means participants and, literally, ignoramuses to implement fraud on a decisive scale. We have tried to emphasize how easy onsey-twosey fraud is, when organized it can result in big numbers. Those sounding the alarm about vulnerabilities employ some of the same steps, reverse analysis, examination of weaknesses in laws. However, they do so for the purpose of raising alarm, publicly pointing out the vulnerabilities in order to insure the integrity of the vote by proposing otherwise widely supported reforms that actually increase voter turn-out because such reforms add confidence in the system.
And who opposes those reforms, not by and large rank-and-file Democrats, certainly not the Republican base or no-party people disgusted with politics as usual. It is Democrat operatives who oppose reform. Democrats operatives take cheating very seriously, it is a campaign technique. There is no uncalled for concern about the vulnerabilities, this is not paranoia. Open your eyes Kellyanne, even this recent information via WikiLeaks and Project Veritas (no connection to this publication) and other reports were available well before your comments.
