Polls trending Trump even before latest news about Hillary investigation

Today’s news about FBI Director Comey reopening the investigation of Hillary is not helpful in and of itself to Hillary, but as our illustrious senior editor opined, basically it may involve Comey cooperating with Clinton Crime, Inc to give Hillary a tool to avoid getting herself in deeper by avoiding questions about any specific revelation. The latest-latest is that the source of the “new” e-mail information may have come from Anthony “Carlos Danger” Wiener’s computer as a result of a separate investigation into the illegal use of his equipment, pun intended. Oh what a tangled web.
Anyway Trump has been experiencing momentum in his campaign before this latest trouble for Hillary, reflected even in polls biased to the limit of defending them with a straight face. The crowds at his events dwarf Hillary’s, and he does multiple events most days – Hillary a few a week. Gary Bauer writing at Campaign for Working Families offers this about trending polls in Trump’s favor:
Remember the ABC News/Washington Post poll I told you about yesterday — the one that had Hillary Clinton up by 12 points just a few days ago? She lost two more points last night.
Clinton’s lead has been cut from 12 points to just four points. She’s lost eight points in the past four days!
The Trump/Pence team has momentum, my friends. We’ve got 11 days to go. Keep fighting!
