Having devoted all manner of in-kind contributions over the last four years, masquerading as news, serving as a printing press for liberal spin regarding Hillary and attacks on Trump, the QCT makes an editorial endorsement of Hillary Clinton.
“At the very least, Clinton deals in reality. She discusses climate change as the very real threat that it is. Her immigration policy is workable and humane. Her calls for free or low-cost community college are an actual solution for the blight that’s overrun post-industrial small town America. Her requirements for a Supreme Court justice protect the rights of all Americans, including women, homosexuals and voters of color. Clinton’s foreign policy chops are second to none.”
Probably the most unserious editorial endorsement that Democratic Party pamphlet has ever produced (some have been very close) Maybe the most unserious any paper has produced!
One can’t help but wonder if this isn’t a send-up, the ed board’s idea of a joke. Five sentences where a cogent thought is not to be found:
a) No borders is “workable”…??!!
b) “free… community college” is the solution to “small town America’s” post-industrial blight!!??
c) weather (climate) control through more and more government regulation is dealing in “reality”??!!
d) Supreme Court justices willing to rid America of that pesky Constitution is what the QCT ed board thinks we need??!!
e) Finally, how about them “foreign policy chops”; Pass out those “reset” buttons! And mail our national security plans and secrets to the UN and any other government who might be interested…we ain’t messin’ around anymore??!!
