No doubt, like you, we have an opinion. Here it is:
“Big Jim” looks mighty small today
It is hard to characterize James Comey, at 6’8″, as a “confused little man”, but certainly he is “confused”, and based on his handling of what shall become known as the “Clinton email probe” (an ironic term), he is a small man in character.
In July, he very clearly laid out how irresponsible and dangerous Hillary Clinton is when she holds a high position in government. Based on Comey’s narrative, lesser beings (like you and I) would have been indicted, and surely convicted, so fast it’d make your head swim. While he made the case for Hillary Clinton to never again hold any position in government, he was unwilling to really seriously cross his bosses. No prosecution recommended!
So the Clinton “criminal operation” was satisfied with that. Even Katy Perry was persuaded.
But a lot of law enforcement professionals, past and present, were not. They knew the “fix was in” and Comey had either been a willing participant or the ‘poor guy’ had been compromised…either by threat, bribery, or his own long concealed ideology.
It has been credibly suggested that his bureau had been in, only slightly less open, rebellion.
Maybe “Big Jim”, faced with historic disgrace, wanted to turn it around and, at last, “do the right thing”.
And thus his “bombshell” announcement that the FBI was “reopening” the investigation into Hillary’s dangerous email/national security antics.
But, WHOA! there Jimmy. When the Clintons are involved and you have a complicit president also in jeopardy, you don’t just indulge your silly “do the right thing” fantasies.
If you think you can just suddenly revert back to a “just the facts, ma’am” stance, you better think again, Jim. How does professional disgrace, financial ruin, and, oh yes, we know where your family lives and your kids go to school sound to you?
And so, there you have it. Modern justice in America. Enjoy it millennials. You’re gonna live with it the rest of your lives. DLH

From CNN — FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers Sunday the agency hasn’t changed its opinion that Hillary Clinton should not face criminal charges after a review of new emails.
Comey had dropped a bombshell 11 days from the election when he informed Congress that the FBI had discovered emails in its separate investigation of Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, that could be connected to its investigation of whether Clinton mishandled classified information by using a private email server.
It’s impossible to know before results are tallied what impact Comey’s actions — first raising a vaguely worded red flag 11 days out, and then lowering it two days from the election — will have on the contest. But the news could help Clinton put to rest a controversy that has dogged her in the 2016 race’s closing days, helping Donald Trump narrow a polling gap nationally and in key battleground states.
“Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July,” Comey said in the letter to top Republicans on the House Oversight Committee.
