Barack Obama is President because of his color and because he played the race card so well. What traditional bona fides he had are traceable to a long string of such “racisms” not a color blind meritocracy. We guess that in a convoluted way proves his swan song of continued racism in America. it will be a convenient whipping boy as to the failure of his administration in so many areas. He never mentions that he benefited from “the legacy” in the form of race-based discrimination and white guilt. He never experienced Jim Crow, ever, however he likely did benefit from affirmative action, which is race-based discrimination.
This is not to argue about whether limited affirmative action ever had or has a place, only that when it is practiced as a matter of employment and the heavy hand of government point systems and “disparate impact” legal nonsense, given other laws that rightfully protect people of color against de jure adverse discrimination, victimized whites have as much call to shout racism and victimhood as most employment age Blacks today ever did.
And we would maintain that President Obama, in his rhetoric, and policy approach and persona has done much to aggravate whatever latent racism there was to make his recent statement to Comedy Central self-fulfilling, given his power and influence.
Obama on Comedy Central: America ‘by No Means’ Has Overcome ‘Legacies of Slavery, Jim Crow, Colonialism, Racism’ . . . President Obama told Comedy Central Monday night.
Appearing on “The Daily Show,” Obama was asked about how he speaks to crowds about race.
How does he “skirt that line between speaking your mind and sharing your true opinions on race whilst, at the same time, not being seen to alienate some of the people you are talking to,” host Trevor Noah asked.
“You know, my general theory is that, if I was clear in my own mind about who I was, comfortable in my own skin, and had clarity about the way in which race continues to be this powerful factor in so many elements of our lives,” Obama said. “But that it is not the only factor in so many aspects of our lives, that we have, by no means overcome the legacies of slavery and Jim Crow and colonialism and racism, but that the progress we’ve made has been real and extraordinary, if I’m communicating my genuine belief that those who are not subject to racism can sometimes have blind spots or lack of appreciation of what it feels to be on the receiving end of that, but that doesn’t mean that they’re not open to learning and caring about equality and justice and that I can win them over because there is goodness in the majority of people.”
Sure, by calling them racist at every turn, blaming every sequelae in poor communities of color on racism rather than poor leadership, lousy (expensive) public education and other bad policy including the welfare state and then doubling down on all those failed policies and saying opposition is , what else, . . . racist.
But this was interesting:
Elsewhere in the interview, Obama attacked the media for focusing on the hacked DNC emails during the campaign — even though there was nothing “explosive” in the exposed communications. It was “fairly routine stuff,” he insisted.
OK that’s a lie in that it exposed much about the cynical nature of the DNC and their maneuverings in support of Hillary and shafting Sanders, about the cozy relationship with the press, which means the public was denied objective analysis, and of course that debate questions were leaked to Hillary. But if it were innocuous stuff as he says, why the accusations about Russian hackers as if the leaks turned the election rather than how bad a candidate Hillary was?

I always wonder about bleeding heart Liberals who talk about black slavery but buy everything from China. How much do they think the workers get paid? $15 an hour?
White America is no where near as racist as The Obama and the Main Stream Media try to portray them as. Black America is no where near as innocent and non-racist as The Obama and Main Stream Media try to portray them as.
The way a person gets treated by society has more to do with the way a person acts in society rather than what color their skin is.
