There must be dancing in the aisles at the Associated Press. They got this story out and it may take days or weeks to learn of a rebuttal or valid repudiation of it. And, if so, one will have to hunt widely in the MSM to find it.
The very interesting thing about this is: (bold emphasis ours)
3rd paragraph: “more than two dozen former u.s. officials, both Republican and Democratic, have spoken before the MEK, including former house speaker and Trump adviser Newt Gingrich. some have publicly acknowledged being paid, but others have not.”
But there are 55 paragraphs in this story. in not one is there any further reference to any Democrat who spoke before this allegedly nefarious organization!
