Breaking news! Grammys tonight might include some anti-Trump statements

ARE YA READY FOR SOME ILL-INFORMED POLITICAL POSTURING?

Then tune in Sunday night to the Grammys , three and a half hours of being lectured to by some of the finest minds in entertainment:

Grammys producer wants stars to be political during speeches

In a fraught moment of political protest across the country, the live mic at televised award shows has become a potent weapon.

As such, Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich has a message for those who will take the stage on Sunday’s ceremony: Bring it on.

– “One of the things I’ve learned from working with artists for 40 years is that they are deep-thinking, vital individuals who have interests that cover a broad cover a broad spectrum of subjects and passions,” he said. “We should certainly allow for it on the broadcast.”
– “Ehrlich has no reservations about political messages or anti-President Trump statements flying during CBS’ three and a half hour Grammycast.”
– “The only guidelines on speech that Ehrlich has to keep an eye (and ear) on is profanity, given the potential for CBS to be hit with FCC fines if F-bombs fly before 10 p.m. But almost everything else is fair game.”

Wow! That last provision is really gonna restrict many of these ‘artists’ freedom of expression! “F-Bombs” seem to be an indispensable part of their ‘free expression of political thought. It may, in fact, effectively silence the acceptance speeches of any hip-hop artists and probably most of the progressive female entertainers.

Remind me to miss this one…if there’s new episodes of “Cake Hunt” on the cooking channel, I need to straighten my sock drawer

By the way, word is that Madonna will get a lifetime achievement award for, well we are not sure but,  maybe the “credit to the profession” award or something.  Shown, Madonna at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
