Confronting the hypocritical / hypercritical left

Whole lotta “cultural bias” goin’ on the Grammys*

“Mr. Ocean, one of the most critically adored artists of the streaming generation, had declined to submit his music for consideration at this year’s Grammys, calling the boycott   his “Colin Kaepernick moment.” In a blog post after insinuations from Grammy producers that his absence was because of a disappointing performance at the 2013 show, Mr. Ocean called out the Recording Academy for what he said was a “cultural bias,” referring specifically to last year’s show, in which Taylor Swift’s “1989” won album of the year over the rapper Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp a Butterfly.” (NY Times)

YEP, IT WAS RACISM; THAT’S WHAT IT WAS. EVEN ADELE WANTED BEYONCE TO WIN

The Grammys have done it again…dat ol’ ‘white privilege’, and, of course, “cultural bias”!

According to “one of the most critically adored artists of the streaming generation”, the Recording Academy has a “cultural bias”. That’s because Beyonce didn’t win “Album of the Year”, losing out to white person, Adele.

All because of ‘cultural bias’, ‘racism’, ‘white privilege’, etc, etc

Don’t believe it? The “adored artist” above cites undeniable evidence: Taylor Swift won album of the year in 2016 for her “1989” album when black rapper Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” was clearly a superior work.

Certainly, the “critically adored artist” could have clinched his case by offering such irrefutable evidence as the fact that Ms. Swift’s album did not contain even a single reference to p***ies, d**ks, ho-ass niggas, f**k, b****h, and other endearing terms.

Swift’s work included no memorable lines like: “This d**k ain’t free…matter fact it’s nine inches

And that’s all from Mr. Lamar’s “For Free (Interlude)” (Just one number from his fun-packed and inspirational album)

Is it any wonder that Kendrick Lamar is one of former President Obama’s favorite artists? Black youth throughout the nation are inspired by the words found in Lamar’s uplifting songs and the deep respect he shows in his “music” for women (affectionately referred to in most of his work as “ho’s” and “bitches”) and for his fellow “homies”, whom he refers to as “niggas”. And who could not appreciate Mr. Lamar’s deep devotion to his country:

“When I get signed homie I’mma buy a strap
Straight from the CIA, set it on my lap
Take a few M-16s to the hood
Pass ’em all out on the block, what’s good?
I’mma put the Compton swap meet by the White House
Republican, run up, get socked out…”

Yep. It’s hard to figure why Kendrick didn’t get album of the year with this artistry. Gotta be some racism goin’ on at the Academy.

Here’s some anecdotes about Kendrick from his 2015 visit to the White House and his playful banter with one of his biggest fans, Barack Obama:

Kendrick Lamar’s big year in 2015 included a White House visit with President Obama, according to one of the president’s top aides.
Senior adviser Valerie Jarrett told BuzzFeed’s “Another Round” podcast that Obama recently shared a personal moment with the rapper in the Oval Office.

“You know what the president said to him? [Because] he was a little nervous — bless his heart, he’s really a very nice young man, and the president said, ‘Can you believe that we’re both sitting in this Oval Office?’” Jarrett said.

The visit occurred in late October, the White House said, when Lamar was in Washington to perform at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra.

Lamar dominated the music scene in 2015 with his latest album, “To Pimp A Butterfly.” He received 11 Grammy nominations, including nods for Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Rap Album.

The president is a big fan, too. Obama told People magazine last month his favorite song of 2015 was Lamar’s “How Much A Dollar Cost.”

“That’s great, man,” Lamar told TMZ in response to hearing Obama’s praise.

Asked about the message of the song, Lamar said, “Help as many people as you can, man, [if you] want to live forever.”  (http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/265413-obama-met-with-kendrick-lamar-in-oval-office )

And this is the “breaking news” which inspired the above observations, by Joe Coscarelli:

‘More Artists Are Going to Boycott’: The Grammys Face Fallout After Fraught Awards

Before the 59th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, the music industry murmured about what it might mean for Adele to once again sweep the top awards, leaving Beyoncé snubbed in the major categories and with her third loss for album of the year. Having long faced accusations that the Grammys overlook young, progressive black artists — the last black woman to win album of the year was Lauryn Hill in 1999 — the Recording Academy faced a potential backlash for going all-in on a white, traditionalist choice like Adele.

Indeed, it happened again.

Now, building on a conversation that was already bubbling, some artists and industry observers are considering the potential fallout.

A clip and lyrics from one of Barack Obama’s favorite artists, Kendrick’s award winning ‘greatest hits’ *:

For Free? (Interlude)

F*ck you, motherf*cker, you a ho-ass nigga
I don’t know why you trying to go big, nigga you ain’t shit
Walking around like you God’s gift to Earth, nigga you ain’t shit
You ain’t even buy me no outfit for the fourth
I need that Brazilian, wavy, twenty eight inch, you playin’
I shouldn’t be f*ckin’ with you anyway, I need a baller ass, boss ass nigga
You’se a off brand ass nigga, everybody know it, your homies know it, everybody f*ckin’ know
F*ck you nigga, don’t call me no more
You won’t know, you gonna lose on a good bitch
My other nigga is on, you off
What the f*ck is really going on?

This dick ain’t free
You lookin’ at me like it ain’t a receipt
Like I never made end’s meet, eatin’ your leftovers and raw meat
This dick ain’t free
Livin’ in captivity raised my cap salary
Celery, tellin’ me green is all I need
Evidently all I seen was spam and raw sardines
This dick ain’t free, I mean, baby
You really think we could make a baby named Mercedes without a Mercedes Benz and twenty four inch rims, five percent tint, and air conditioning vents
Hell f*ckin’ naw, this dick ain’t free
I need forty acres and a mule
Not a forty ounce and a pitbull
Bullshit, matador, matador, had the door knockin’, let ’em in, who’s that?
Genital’s best friend, this dick ain’t free
Pity the fool that made the pretty in you prosper
Titty juice and pussy lips kept me obnoxious, kept me up watchin’
Pornos and poverty, apology? No
Watch you volunteer it it while people less fortunate, like myself
Every dog has it’s day, now doggy style shall help
This dick ain’t free
Matter fact it need interest, matter fact it’s nine inches
Matter fact see our friendship based on business
Pension, more pension, you’re pinchin’, my consensus
Been relentless, f*ck forgiveness, f*ck your feelings
F*ck your sources, all distortion, if you f*ck it’s more abortion
More divorce courts and portion
My check with less endorsement left me dormant
Dusted, doomed, disgusted, forced with
F*ck you think is bullshit, porcelain pipes pressure, bust ’em twice
Choice is deaf, a state of decapitated the horseman
Oh America, you bad bitch, I the picked cotton that made you rich
Now my dick ain’t free

[Hook:]

At first, I did love you
But now I just wanna f*ck
Late night thinkin’ of you
Until I got my nut
Tossed and turned, lesson learned
You was my first girlfriend
Bridges burned, all across the board
Destroyed, but what for?

When I get signed, homie I’mma act a fool
Hit the dance floor, strobe lights in the room
Snatch your little secretary bitch for the homies
Blue eyed devil with a fat ass monkey
I’mma buy a brand new Caddy on fours
Trunk the hood up, two times, deuce four
Platinum on everything, platinum on wedding ring
Married to the game, made a bad bitch yours
When I get signed homie I’mma buy a strap
Straight from the CIA, set it on my lap
Take a few M-16s to the hood
Pass ’em all out on the block, what’s good?
I’mma put the Compton swap meet by the White House
Republican, run up, get socked out
Hit the press with a Cuban link on my neck
Uneducated but I got a million dollar check, like that

Hopped out the caddy, just got my dick sucked
The little homies called, they said, “The enemies done cliqued up”
Oh yeah? Puto want to squabble with mi barrio?
Oh, yeah? Tell ’em they can run it for the cardio
Oh, yeah? Everythin’ is everythin’, it’s scandalous
Slow motion for the ambulance, the project filled with cameras
The LAPD gamblin’, scramblin’, football numbers slanderin’
Niggas name on paper, you snitched all summer
The streets don’t fail me now, they tell me it’s a new gang in town
From Compton to Congress, it’s set trippin’ all around
Ain’t nothin’ new but a flow of new DemoCrips and ReBloodlicans
Red state versus a blue state, which one you governin’?
They give us guns and drugs, call us thugs
Make it they promise to f*ck with you
No condom they f*ck with you, Obama say, “What it do?”

[Hook]

Everybody want to talk about who this and who that
Who the realest and who wack, who white or who black
Critics want to mention that they miss when hip hop was rappin’
Motherf*cker if you did, then Killer Mike’d be platinum
Y’all priorities are f*cked up, put energy in wrong shit
Hennessy and Crown Vic, my memory been gone since
Don’t ask about no camera back at award shows
No, don’t ask about my bitch, no, don’t ask about my foes
‘Less you askin’ me about power, yeah, I got a lot of it
I’m the only nigga next to Snoop that can push the button
Had the Coast on standby
“K. Dot, what up? I heard they opened up Pandora’s boxâ€
I box ’em all in, by a landslide
Nah homie we too sensitive, it spill out to the streets
I make the call and get the coast involved then history repeats
But I resolved inside that private hall while sitting down with Jay
He said “it’s funny how one verse could f*ck up the game”

  • Our purpose, perhaps to the consternation of some, is decidedly to expose and confront people with how hypocritical the left is in their holier-than-thou posturing  and their denunciations of President Trump as a misogynist. Trump did not publicly assault culture in a stupid “un-produced” comment. Those the left celebrate are the true cultural destroyers.  We present the evidence plainly and in context.

One Response to Confronting the hypocritical / hypercritical left

  1. DLH says:

Which of these tunes do you suppose Mr. Lamar “sang” for the refined folks at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts? The National Symphony Orchestra must have been proud to serve as the ‘backup’ for Kendrick as he belted out some of his award winning artistry.
Also, Michele O must be appalled at Kendrick’s lyrics, as she was toward Donald Trump’s ill-chosen ‘locker room’ talk, don’tcha think? As I recall, “Her Magnificence With Toned Arms” was distraught when she learned that her husband’s replacement had so ‘disrespected’ women, and had used vulgar language in doing so.
Finally, you ‘spose Michele hid the girls (Sasha and the graceful Malia) and made them wear earmuffs when Kendrick visited the White House?
