George W. Bush’s daughter will headline Planned Parenthood fundraiser
Barbara Pierce Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, is slated to deliver the keynote address at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in Fort Worth, Texas, next week.
Barbara Bush has previously expressed her support for abortion, a procedure that the government-subsidized healthcare group is well-known for providing to women. Next Wednesday, she will rally financial support for the abortion provider at its annual luncheon.
Yeah we are well aware parents can’t control their adult kids, but a parent who is a former President of the US can be expected to find his tongue to reassure and encourage people who sacrificed much to support him. GW and GHW relied heavily on pro-life support in their campaigns. Planned Parenthood opposed GW and GHW vociferously in their runs for president. Daughter Barbara would not likely be in demand as a key-note speaker but for the sensation her presence creates.
WITH MANY REGRETS, NEVERTHELESS WE ARE GLAD WE HELPED OUR NATION IN AVOIDING A GORE AND/OR KERRY PRESIDENCY.
However, the alleged graciousness of the Bush clan is overrated.

Possibly a clarification is in order. Neither Roger nor I voted 4 times for GW. Each of us voted twice for GHWB and twice for GWB.
As is noted neither of us would take back any of those votes. But that was then and this is now. In those elections, even knowing what we know now, the idea of a Gore or Kerry presidency is so totally abhorrent…maybe not as bad and dangerous and destructive as the 8 year Obama horror show, but bad enough.
It is nevertheless, the two Bush presidencies which has brought this nation to where it is today…irreversibly divided, internationally neutered, very nearly ungovernable.
Thanks to the Bush’s sometimes well-concealed liberalism, unwillingness to defend traditional American values or even their own justifiable actions, America is a nation adrift in a raging sea of radical leftism.
Would it have mattered if we knew what the Bushes really stood for? Maybe, but given the fact that “back in that day”, the American people had only limited access to information and the Washington “uni-party” and a fully indoctrinated media controlled the narrative. The American people couldn’t know.
Donald Trump may be flawed but he is all that stands in opposition to achievement of the totalitarian aspirations of today’s Democratic Party and the likes of an Elizabeth Warren presidency or a Ruth Bader Ginsberg Supreme Court or a Harry Reid type of Congress or a Barack Obama country!
