Can no one rid us of this ridiculous nunnery? …

Ecclesiastically speaking of course

Sisters of “Humility”, could they be more apostatic, pretentious, delusional?

There will soon be a new bishop in town, but . . .

Until the appearance of evidence to the contrary, we have every confidence the new boss will be same as the old boss, it has been a pattern

Ridiculous liberal orthodoxy will continue run the show, the inept, the enablers and quite possible the fellow travelers will continue to “govern”

But we can pray, which brings us to the song at the end

Conservative Catholic, Protestant, non-denominational Christian, or just an adherent to horse-sense, you gotta read this announcement and story from the Dispatch Argus religion page:

Peace seeker to teach conflict resolution

The invitee to the Sister of Humilty sponsored event is to teach, not merely speak, without any announced formal equal time rebuttal as to implications of her methodology or soundness of the theological constructs informing and presumably presented by her.  It provides good reason to be “protestant” especially if this goes uncorrected by the current or future ordinary of the diocese.

As best we can tell the invited, heralded speaker is a shaman, and the nuns’ Christology over the years has included to invite/ promote other theological shams. Not to object, correct, debate, but to lend credence.  We will stand corrected when they regularly invite a series of visiting teachers from these institutions. and these institutions.

Early photo?

The sham and or shaman implication is not revealed in the article. For that you must do a little background research into Ms Isa Gucciardi “Ph.D.”  By the way, the use of the Ph.D is often a shamanism, talisman, what have you, in its own rite even when from a so-called accredited university. But we don’t think Summit University meets the usual criteria of such wannabe academic snobs as the Sister’s of Humility.  Or does it?  Maybe it does on second thought. Anyway this is where Ms Gucciardi gets her Ph.D

Isa Gucciardi*, Ph.D., has a doctorate in Transpersonal Psychology from Summit University and certificates in Transformational Healing and Hypnotherapy from the Institute of Transformational Healing. A Certified Hypnotherapist affiliated with Valencia Healing Arts Center, she is an ordained minister as well as a Master Reiki practitioner. She has published widely on hypnotherapy and self-transformation, and appeared in the Journal V. XI (1), 1997.

*Bios are listed here as they last appeared in the latest publication of the Journal of Regression Therapy.

And this is Summit University:

It serves as the educational arm of The Summit Lighthouse, a spiritual organization based on the teachings of the ascended masters.  (Click here to see the history of Summit University.)

Ascended masters are the enlightened ones, the saints and adepts of East and West who have found liberation from the wheel of rebirth. For thousands of years, they have guarded and directed the human race. While still in embodiment they influenced politics, religion, culture, literature and science in order to provide an ever-expanding platform for human evolution. Included in their midst are the great spiritual lights that founded the major world religions, such as Gautama Buddha, Zarathustra and Jesus Christ as well as mystics like St. Francis in the West and Bodhidharma in the East. They are also found at the origins of esoteric movements like Theosophy, the Agni Yoga Society and Rosicrucianism.

We thinks the equivocation as to the “lights”  a bit apostatic, and the adherents teaching authority a bit of the same in our Veritaspac Brothers of Humility humble opinion.

About shamanism

Shamanism is basically communication with the spirit world through means that are expressly forbidden in scripture.

“When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.  Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.  You must be blameless before the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 18:9-14).    . . .

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’” (John 14:6).

And about the new bishop.   Until evidence comes to our attention . . .

  1. Gus says:

Didn’t “Summit University’s” football team go 12-0 last year in NCAA Division 12? And, wasn’t the team led by a quarterback majoring in “Transformational Healing” who played the entire season with a fractured skull, broken neck, and two broken arms?
Or am I thinking of the Maharishi School of Management and Transcendental Meditation of Fairfield, Iowa? Oh well, whatever…I’m sure the humble sisters of the Sisters of Humility could tell us…speaking of …”the Foundation of the Sacred Stream”??; I’m not gonna touch that one.
