Steve Chapman, Town Hall columnist for who knows what reason, offered this incredibly equivocating article a couple days ago, conflating aggression with defensive aggression, ignoring antecedents and the motivating philosophy of left vs right. His article is just ridiculous.
Political Violence: ‘As American as Cherry Pie’
If Chapman emitted any relevance to the debate at hand it is in correctly identifying the political coloring of the violence with the reference to “Cherry Pie” — it is red, and as red as red can be. We may do an item-by-item rebuttal to Chapman’s non-sense and non- sequiturs but for now we will simply reference Pat Buchanan’s comments, which are far more historically appropriate while currently relevant:
A Long History of Leftist Hatred
R Mall
Steve, the “Kathleen Parker, David Brooks”, of Townhall is simply running true to form. The point of this column is…? Somebody must pay Steve a lot of money to pose (most unconvincingly) as a conservative.
He’s been dining out for years in this guise.
