President Trump needs to fire Robert Mueller,
—-
Maybe A Better Idea:
Columnist Don Surber writes in his blog that President Trump should fire Special Counsel, Robert Mueller. But first, Surber says, the administer should “investigate the investigator”, with, we’d agree, the likely result Mueller would emerge “too toxic to touch”.
We believe the likely outcome of an investigation would show Mueller to be nothing more than a vindictive political hack, loaded with conflicts of interest, selected and dedicated to the sole objective of bringing down the Trump presidency.
While we would like to see such an investigation go forward and produce the likely result, we are not convinced it can happen. Already underway is massive effort by the media and their political allies on both sides of the aisle, to smear and discredit any effort to expose and validate the enormous conflict of interest at work and the ongoing leaks emanating from within the Special Counsel’s office, as just a ploy to protect Trump and his team.
Thus, we propose what we believe is a better idea to shut down the most serious attempt ever in history, to overthrow the legally elected government of the United States.
AG Sessions should immediately appoint a Special Counsel to investigate the ‘unmasking’ and illegal spying by the Obama administration on their political opponents leading up to and after the 2016 election and the massive obstruction of justice perpetrated by certain members of the Obama circle, including certain officials within the Obama Justice Department…and wherever else the evidence might lead.
And speaking of…there is far more evidence of illegality in that entire episode than any which existed at the time of the Mueller/Russia appointment.
But wait! “Simultaneous investigations would be so disruptive to our ‘body politic'”, the press and the anti-Trump establishment would cry.
And worse yet for anti-Trump crowd, any confirmation of spying along with the charging of specific guilty parties is not likely to get much “presidential pardon” consideration.
“It would be extremely petty, purely political, and unconscienably revengeful for the Trump administration to launch such a ‘witch-hunt'”, the DNC, NY Times, the entire Washington establishment and CNN would bellow.
To that, “Really?! Tell us about it.”
Firing Mueller (excerpt)
President Trump needs to fire Robert Mueller — but in a manner in which his enemies in Congress do not turn around and hire the Big Leak back.
Trump has to make Mueller too toxic to touch.
The plan is to investigate the investigator.
President Trump’s lawyers and aides are scouring the professional and political backgrounds of investigators hired by the special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, looking for conflicts of interest they could use to discredit the investigation — or even build a case to fire Mr. Mueller or get some members of his team recused, according to three people with knowledge of the research effort. . . .
I would not go for recusal.
Instead, I would garner enough rumor and innuendo to appoint a special counsel to investigate Mueller and his team of corrupt lawyers. Preet Bharara? Really? He belongs in jail for that multi-billion-dollar get-of-jail slush fund he ran as U.S, attorney for Southern Manhattan. CEOs paid into a government fund to avoid criminal prosecution. The Democrats then disbursed the money to their friendly “charities.”
