THE GOP’s “COSA NOSTRA”
A column by “Allahpundit” an ‘alleged’ conservative on the web site “Hot Air”, not a pro-Trump blog makes a point that tells a lot about today’s Republican party…and what it thinks of the voters who put them in the majority:
“House Democrats introduced a censure resolution a few days ago, about which Ryan and the GOP have been understandably quiet. They’re lying low right now and watching Trump’s polling to see how the public reacts to the intense media heat on him over Charlottesville. If his numbers start to tank, they might panic and consider censure as a way to distance the caucus from him. But the polling on last weekend’s fracas has been no worse than neutral so far. They’re not going to touch censure unless there’s a political cost to not touching it, and right now there isn’t.”
In other words, ‘we’re not going to lift a finger to support the guy who won 63 million votes and gave us control of both Houses of Congress!’
We’re just going to “lay low” to see how “the public reacts to the intense media coverage…”. You know, we don’t want to ‘offend’ the media.
And, why would that be?

Could it be… to protect the Washington establishment and all the comforts it provides to these hacks? Remember the healthcare plan they promised to repeal?…you know, the one that is so onerous they arranged to not be covered by it themselves?
When your party’s leader is such a “loose cannon” that he’d threaten to put you into that program if you didn’t keep your promise…well, you know, you can’t abide that.
This guy is so ignorant of politics he thinks you should keep the promises you make during the campaign.
Whew! He’s gotta go! After all…what is the Mafia term? This is “cosa nostra”…OUR THING.
