POPE: RIGHTS OF MIGRANTS TRUMP NATIONAL SECURITY CONCERNS
“…Francis demanded governments welcome, protect, promote and integrate migrants, saying Jesus’ message of love is rooted in welcoming the “rejected strangers of every age.”
He demanded an increased and simplified process of granting humanitarian and temporary visas and rejected arbitrary and collective expulsions as “unsuitable.”

That’s a whole lot of “demandin’ goin’ on” at the Vatican.
Brings to mind an old joke; if we may paraphrase:
What’s the difference between God and Jorge Mario Bergoglio? God doesn’t think He’s Pope.
But here’s the clincher that exposes Francis’s deep down ideological impulses:
Acknowledging the tallness of the order, Francis said the church would do its part. But he said all people of good will, Christian and not, “are called to respond to the many challenges of contemporary migration with generosity, promptness, wisdom and foresight, each according to their own abilities.” And, of course without saying, to each according to their needs (as Francis sees them).

Remainder of AP story continues.. There you will also find this reach from Pope Francis:
He said the principle of ensuring each person’s dignity “obliges us to always prioritize personal safety over national security”
No it doesn’t. Personal safety is wrapped up in, is indeed inextricable from national security. Further, Christian charity does not require integration of migrants as the Pope insists. There is no end to claims of migrant or refugee status, it is a call for open borders.
“Wisdom and foresight” would counsel against that.
The Pope offers that migrants have a “right to protection,” Funny but we do not enjoy that here. Anyway, that would seem to be an authorization for regime change by force if necessary, as a police action a.k.a. “war” to rid the world of oppressive tyrants, who are the primary contemporary cause of “migration.” Wars of liberation are OK saith the Pope? A new Crusade perhaps, not to save Christians, but rid the world of tyrants, the only one-world solution?
