Sen. Bob Corker will not run for re-election in 2018
AS HE RIDES OFF INTO THE SUNSET GOOD OLD BOB CORKER CAN ENJOY HIS GRAND LEGACY AS ENGINEERING THE UPENDING OF THE US CONSTITUTION AND ARMING THE GREATEST ENEMY OF AMERICA WITH THE MOST DANGEROUS WEAPONS KNOWN TO MAN.
Bob Corker is the author of the “Corker-Hoeven Iran Bill”. The bill turns the Treaty provisions of the US Constitution literally on its head, and, insures that the most dangerous international agreement probably in all history becomes reality.
Instead of requiring approval by two thirds of the Senate for any international treaty negotiated by the Executive branch, it instead REQUIRES TWO THIRDS MAJORITY OF THE SENATE TO DISAPPROVE SUCH A PACT!
Perhaps Mr. Corker will have received his eternal reward by the time Iran obliterates one or more major city allied or American, but he can certainly claim credit when it does, thanks also to “most wonderful president ever”, Barack Obama.
But not only Corker deserves eternal condemnation, so do 97 other senators who voted for his bill.
One of those was a man I initially supported for president in 2016 and proves often since then that was a big mistake, Ted Cruz (http://therightscoop.com/ted-cruz-why-i-voted-yes-for-corker-iran-bill/).
Cruz has just this week proved it again when he joined such great company as Susan Collins, Rand Paul (whom I don’t recall campaigning to repeal Obamacare when and only when there is a perfect bill to replace it), and John McCain.
As with the Corker bill Ted has his great reasons for it but, however, great they are, he has helped socialized medicine, known also as “single payer Bernie Sanders Health care” become law.
I cannot wait to see if sanctimonious Ted runs his next campaign on a promise to repeal that!
