  • potato famine looms large

We realize that his Holiness, who never hesitates to share his views on the events of the day, is a busy guy. We realize, too, that ‘derivatives’ and economic practices and policies, and any ‘capitalist’ activities are of much concern to the Pontiff. Of course he has cautioned”conservative” Catholics about “obsessing on such matters.

Oh well, first things first with the Church’s ‘humblest’ Pope.
