Remember the IG report we’ve all anxiously awaited? You know the one. It’s going to blow the lid off the Deep State corruption, the completely corrupted Hillary “investigation”; the collusion between the Russians and the Hillary campaign; the identity of the numerous DOJ/FBI officials who committed serious crimes and corrupted both the rule of law and America’s political system. All that and more.
Its release has been eagerly anticipated and imminent for weeks now.
While conservatives are rubbing their hands over what it will reveal: ‘it is sure, to bring down the entire radical left structure including the whole Obama-built anti-American architecture’; but now…we must ask, “well, where is it?”
I‘ll tell you where it is…it’s in the hands of the very organization it supposedly exposes. And it’s there undergoing careful “editing”, to insure “the nation’s security”… read “redaction”… is adequately assured!
Ah, but then, also, Our GOP leaders have demanded and been acceded to by the Justice System, and just last week were allowed to view the documents they’ve asked to see for months related to the incredible spying operation the FBI waged against the Trump campaign and administration. And best of all, they were allowed to see them in their unredacted state.
Now, for sure, truth will out and America will know the depths of political corruption the Obama administration and our intelligence and premier law enforcement agencies have sunk to.
Think that IG report will stand for a bunch of redactions? That it won’t back up what our intrepid Republican congresspeople uncover?
Nossir, by golly. The reckoning has come; conservatives and regular Americans are joyous! ………..
Sadly, our guess is that while that careful “editing” is going on, the IG, Mr. Horowitz, is being lectured on the “six ways from Sunday”* he will surely endure if he dares to reject any redactions.
Anyone recall all of those other moments when conservatives and regular Americans were heaving a sigh of relief over the coming occasion when, at last, “truth will out”, and all the misdeeds and lies, and corruption rampant in the Obama administration would be revealed, accountability would be assigned, and well-deserved punishment would be meted out? There was the Benghazi hearings, the House Select Committee to investigate IRS illegalities, the Hillary emails; at last Trey Gowdy was on the case; Darrel Issa will uncover the truth, etc, etc
And how… they all came to…zip!
Does anyone really think that however gross the revelations of Obama and Obama administration crimes and ‘high’ misdemeanors might be revealed will result in appropriate response?
Only this week, after days of silence following the long-awaited review of FBI documents, so long withheld, were viewed, we heard from our “ace congressional investigator” and conservatives’ one time “great hope”, Trey Gowdy !
Drum roll, please. Gowdy reveals!!! “Nuthin’ to see here”. The FBI didn’t spy on Trump. They spied on the Russians. America should be proud of how the FBI ‘followed up’ on disclosure of certain individuals in the Trump team cavorting with Russians.
So there you have it . “Deuce” Gowdy has come through again, just as his select committee on Benghazi ‘delivered the goods’.
Still hope that the IG report will be a blockbuster? Or Jeff Sessions’ ‘federal prosecutor’, John Huber’s “investigation” into the Hillary email investigation will produce anything?
