So Steve King has been all but ejected from Congress by his own GOP colleagues.*
‘Madame’ Tlaib, however, continues to be the toast of the Democratic Party!
Ah well, that’s how both partiers roll. DLH From The Daily Mail:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib drew controversy her first night as a lawmaker She was videotaped calling to ‘impeach the mother******’ regarding Trump A supporter tweeted a picture with her Saturday Abbas Hamideh said he attended a private dinner with Tlaib’s family He has called for ‘Zionist terrorist’ Jews to be returned to Poland Also tweeted in support of Hezbollah and its leader Nasrallah Tlaib’s office said anyone could come to swearing-in, she has taken ‘thousands of photos’ that ‘does not mean that she agrees with anything someone says’
“civil discourse”…Muslim style? rules!
*Steve King voted for the resolution condemning his comments. Perhaps more on the subject later.
Steve ing, a good congressman with an excellent voting record. He walked into enemy territory with his mouth in drive and his brain in park. I feel for the guy, but C’mon man! One can defend patriotism, nationalism, and western civilization. One can argue against the concept of white privilege. There are a lot of good issues to discuss that become toxic when you attach a color to them.
Mr. King should have his own tape of the interview to show context, but more relevant, he should have just shut up.
This isn’t the 1st time ol’ Steve’s been here, I think it’s the last.
While real hate-mongers like so many members of the progressive caucus go uncensored
I don’t want to censor the crazies. I hope every day that the dems let the country know exactly who they are and what they want to do.
One of the reasons Veritaspac.com is bookmarked is; You guys are thinkers, a quality often lacking in today’s world. I wish everyone had you on their favorites list.
I don’t like the fact that there is a double standard in the way mainstream media treats conservatives. I don’t like it, but I’m sure as hell aware of it.
Because of the obvious bias, I’m careful to be precise with my language, and push boundaries without hurting the very cause I’m trying to forward.
I wish Mr. King had thought about that as he entered the NYT’s lion’s den.
Should Steve King should be thrown out of Congress by his own party for his ‘grievous misstep’?
It’s what Republicans do.
Tlaib, on the other hand, should remain and be celebrated by her party (and the “MSM”). After all, she is not known for ever having defended “patriotism, nationalism, and western civilization”, her most attractive leftist quality… except perhaps for her virulent anti-Semitism.
As Karl Rove has suggested, the GOP often doesn’t field “good quality candidates”…like Ms. Tlaib.
